BANQUET MANAGER/DIRECTOR JOB SUMMARY:

YR. CATERING OR RELATED FOOD SERVICE EXPERIENCE.
COORDINATE AND PARTICIPATE IN FOOD SERVICE AND CATERING ACTIVITIES
OF SPECIAL FUNCTIONS to plan with clients, for weddings, banquets
and other social or business functions supplying food and other
services as agreed by the parties and supervising all staff in
carrying out the event smoothly.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:
• Meet with clients to talk over their requirements for
the event. Discuss such subjects as number of guests and appropriately
service the functions from start to finish, ensuring proper details;
build a relationship with clients.
•
Meet with caterers for each event and support their needs, and
work with them to ensure that Catering Staff is successful for
Event Coordination within the Church’s Facility.
•
Marketing Property and Business Development.
•
Develop and get approval for Marketing Tool for St. Nicholas facilities.
•
Contribute information for St. Nicholas, www.epiphanycity.org
website for Banquet Facilities.
•
Work along with the Staff at St. Nicholas with the Master Schedule
(5 year schedule) to ensure proper availability for ministries
and outside rentals.
•
Great Communication Skills, Team Player, Organized, Flexible,
Manage Multiple Rooms Venues at one time.
•
Applicant must be Detailed Oriented and able to coordinate all
aspects of working with outside caterers, and professional teams
of Video/Photography, Florists, Limo, Cake/Bakers, Linens, D.J’s,
Bands, etc.
•
Knowledge of Bar and Fountain a plus
•
Keep up-to-date Inventory List and appropriate Maintenance/Repair
Schedule
•
Dedicate Conference Room 2 for office area and display of our
Banquet facility packages
•
Report to Parish Council and Catering/Facility Rental Advisory
Committee as requested
