The Cathedral building was originally built in 1942, ( 68 years old )
The copper dome is the  original  and is now leaking water
causing damage to the structure and interior.

A Message from the Committee
"Our Cathedral is in dire need of repair. We have procrastinated long
enough!  For 70 years,  our Cathedral has been the landmark of 
Tarpon Springs.  God has given us His Chruch to manage and care
for because we love Him!  Please help our St.Nicholas Cathedral to be
restored! Look at the pictures, see the water intruding into our church 
rotting our infrastructure.  If these problems persist,  the church will 
become structurally unsound leading to the demise of our beautiful
